Tyana A. Shaw is the founder and current owner of Tydewater Co. The dream to own her own polish line began at the mere age of 4 when given her first bottle of nail polish, which she used to "paint a picture" on the baseboard of her living room. Needless to say, her parents were not too happy about the incident but little did they know that it would spark a long lasting love for polish. Throughout the years, Shaw has found herself immersed by the wonders of ethical and sustainable ways to consume and create products that are not only good for the environment around us, but good for the consumer. Her two most beloved passions aligned like twin flames this past year within the creation of the Tydewater Co brand. A brand dedicated to hand crafting one of a kind small batch polishes that are vegan, ten free, and not tested on animals. Tyana has high hopes for this passion project turned LLC. Hopes that can be accomplished with the patronage and support of her community.
